Silverline Wet & Dry Sheets provide an ultra-fine 1200-grit finish essential for critical intercoat preparation in automotive, marine, and metal fabrication projects. The premium silicon carbide abrasive is engineered for self-lubricating performance, automatically generating a polishing slurry during wet sanding to eliminate scratches and deliver a mirror-smooth surface on clear coats, primers, and enamels. Built with a waterproof, latex-impregnated cellulose backing, these sheets maintain their integrity and durability, even during prolonged immersion. The professional 230×280mm size is optimized for use with 1/2-sheet sanders and hand blocks, offering efficient coverage on large body panels. For wet sanding, submerge the sheet in water for 2-3 minutes, then work with a water-surfactant lubricant. For dry sanding, use only on bare metal with mandatory dust extraction and a NIOSH P100 respirator. Always wear appropriate PPE, avoid solvents, and rinse the sheet under running water to clean.
